Chinatown Mahjong Club is a community initiative arriving out of Alice Lam’s ongoing advocacy for Calgary’s Chinatown through her organization Friends of Chinatown.

Lam requested a series of posters that could be used on an ongoing basis over the 2026 Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons of the Chinatown Mahjong Club. My first formal poster designs, Lam’s request has served as a workshop for my own development and a wonderful opportunity to somehow participate in her ongoing community work.
